Yu Ace – Another Smartphone from “Yu” is ready to Land on Shores on August 30

Yu – a sub-brand of Micromax – is all set to release its new latest greatest and coolest smartphone on August 30. All invitations by Micromax have already been sent for the launch event, where it’s going to announce Yu Ace – after almost a span of 11 months. Ahead of its official launch, Android Pure has revealed the first image of Yu Ace, indicating a massive and glorious front panel.

We went through several rumours and leaks suggesting a FullView Notched display with 18:9 aspect ratio with fewer bezels on both sides. For now, we’re only relying on rumours but everything will definitely be cleared after August 30. It’s Ok to wait for a little, right?

As of now, we’re expecting Yu Ace to be powered by an Octa-core SoC and is expected to run on Android’s 8.1 Oreo-based stock Android user interface.

Yu Ace Specifications

11 months old smartphone by Yu named Yu Yureka 2 was landed on shelves in India in September 2017 and features a gorgeous 5.5-inches IPS LCD 2.5D curved display with a Full HD+ resolution for an immersive experience. The brain behind Yu Yureka 2 was Qualcomm Snapdragon 626, partnered with 4GB of RAM for smooth and silky performance. It was backed by 64GB of ROM and has an expandable option via microSD card.

As far as Yu Yreka 2 software factor is concerned, it ran on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with timely updates of Android Nougat 7.0. Camera-wise, it offered the audience a 16MP camera (Autofocus) and a gorgeous 8MP FaceTime sensor. The battery inside Yu Yreka 2 was 3930mAh which supported Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 for fast charging.

Chances are Yu’s upcoming smartphone “Yu Ace” will house almost similar features with only a little bit upgrade in terms of RAM and processor. Display and other configurations are expected to be the same.

Online Exclusive

Similar to Yu’s 11 months old smartphone Yu Yureka 2, Yu Ace is also expected to be an online exclusive model. It remains to be seen if Yu Ace will be a budget-friendly or a mid-range smartphone. As soon as it goes live, we’ll make our come back with the longest review of Yu Ace. So, stay tuned for more updates.
