The most-awaited gaming-focused smartphone by Xiaomi named Xiaomi Black Shark 2 has now been available to buy in Europe – straight from Black Shark’s official website.
The handset is priced €549 which is equal to £479 if you get your hands on 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard memory. The 12GB/256GB variant, however, goes for a whopping €649 or £559.
A Vice President of Black Shark Mr. David Li has said that it’ll provide European players with a unique experience. As mobile gaming now appears to generate more consumer spending than consoles and PC gaming, the company has chosen a presence in Europe, so obviously, there should be a desire for game-focused phones, right? Well, it is still a test of the hypothesis.
And you can help – by completely disregarding this handset or by buying one. A low-pressure touchscreen (43.5 mm), with low latency and a normal brightness of 430 nits, is available on the Black Shark 2 at 6.39-inches 1080 x 2340 HDR AMOLED.
The device has also two front-faced speakers, an in-display fingerprint reader and a 4,000mAh battery with 27W rapid charge to make sure that you do not lose signal no matter how you hold it.
The Snapdragon 855 chipset is unbelievably in front of the lead, helped by a steam chamber cooling system that promises up to 14-degree Celsius reduction of the SoC temperature. A 48 MP main sensor with a pixel binning and a 12 MP 2x telephoto zoom lens are available in the dual rear camera system, while a 20 MP unit is available for selfies.
