Waterproof Jaybird’s Run XT True Wireless Earbuds Coming to Australia Now

After getting hype back in 2018, a truly wireless headphone market will be taking off in 2019. The Jaybird has already started getting on board with their latest Jaybird Run XT Truly Wireless Headphones heading to shores all over Australia and online, of course in a couple of days.

The earbuds (headphones) are intended at the active user – improving lots of on their earlier generation of Run Truly wireless earbuds that were only water-resistant and sweat-proof. This newly announced Run XT true wireless earbuds are now offering true waterproofing with an IPX7 – enabling them to get submerged into water up to 1 meter for more than 30 minutes.

These Run XT earbuds are highly comfortable and offer decent sound in the case previously released models are anything to go by. These earbuds also include a button that enables you to call your choice of a digital assistant like Siri or Google Assistant.

According to Jeremy Saxton (Head of Industrial Design),

“We are pleased to manufacture on the success of Run by making Run XT even better with full IPX7 waterproofness which enhances its durability in all conditions. The complete lineup of Jaybird headphones is now sweat-proof and waterproof. Simultaneously, we have taken the opportunity to update the colors and finishes to create a more rugged yet sophisticated design”.

Thanks to its long-lasting battery, it can last around 12 hours – four hours of life in the buds and the rest of the hours stored in a supplied charging.

Most important of all, in case you forget where you left your earbuds, the Jaybird App enables to find them without any hassle. Not only this but also this app enables you to set the EQ. Jaybird is said to come up with a new Podcast recommendation service somewhere in February 2019.

Availability and Price

Jaybird Run XT truly wireless headphones will be coming in 2 sensational color options – Black/Flash and Storm Gray/Glacier and will be available in JB Hi-Fi and Rebel Sport from February 4th, 2019. The Run XT truly wireless earbuds are all set to cost AU$279.95.
