Samsung is ready to launch Galaxy P30 (China-only) anytime soon – revealed by a report from GSMarena. The Galaxy P30 on China’s 3C certification website showing that it will start landing soon. The Galaxy P30 smartphone from Samsung is the company’s first smartphone which will house an on-screen fingerprint scanner.
What we’ve heard?
Based on several rumors circulating around, Galaxy P30 was listed as model number SM-G6200 on China’s Compulsory Certification website (CCC). Though such list didn’t reveal much about Galaxy P30 we do know that Galaxy P30 will support 5V/2A charging.
The TENNA listing reveals a bunch of Samsung Galaxy P30 specifications such as 64GB/128GB of onboard memory. And users will have 4 color options to choose from – Black, Blue, Red, and Pink.
Significantly, Samsung Galaxy P30 will house an IPS-based LCD display which will also have an on-screen fingerprint scanner. It’s a good news as so far, we haven’t seen any smartphone from Samsung with an on-screen fingerprint sensor. The latter, however, was being billed as Samsung’s first smartphone to bear a fingerprint scanner under the display.
Furthermore, Samsung is testing several new features on its mid-range smartphones before it rolls out to premium handsets. For instance, Galaxy A7 was Samsung’s first smartphone with tri-camera configuration and another specification predicted to boast on Galaxy S10 series.
The China-only P30 will be a new mid-range smartphone against Vivo and Huawei counterparts. For now, Samsung Galaxy P30 release date is unknown but hopefully, the Chinese audience will get their hands on one sooner.
