Samsung Galaxy A8s Would be the Company’s First Device without 3.5mm Headphone Jack

As we have been hearing about Samsung Galaxy A8s from the last couple of weeks, now we know a bunch of features and specifications as things are getting cleared more and more day by day. Based on a most prominent Twitter leakster @MMDDJ_, Samsung Galaxy A8s won’t be loaded with a standard 3.5mm headphone jack – flagging the way for USB-C audio in Samsung Galaxy Note as well as S Series.

Though it’s not really a new concept and you’re very well familiar that there are so many brands offering such handsets such as Apple iPhone Xs Max, Apple iPhone XS, and Apple iPhone XR.

So, if Galaxy A8s ends up without a 3.5mm headphone jack, we may even see upcoming flagship Galaxy Note and S series models as well (as mentioned above).

The Samsung Galaxy A8s a couple of weeks back teased by Samsung during an event in China where we saw a full-screen design with a small hole on the top left corner for a FaceTime sensor. That would eliminate a need for making a notch to sport a camera and other sensors including Proximity sensor and notification light.

Availability

Rumors and suggestions around indicating that Samsung Galaxy A8s will go official late in December before a New Year starts. Soon after the release, it will be limited to China and later audience worldwide will get their hands on. Well, considering a new Infinity-O design, expansion to international markets shortly after is extremely likely.
