2018 is indeed a year of notches smartphones but Samsung had been avoiding notches for far too long. Now, everything is going to be changed as Samsung announced Infinity-V and Infinity-D display which make it clear that this wouldn’t be the case anymore.
Based on most recent suggestions and rumors, Samsung Galaxy A8s in Australia and other countries will be the company’s first smartphone to be backed by a U-shaped cutout.
Rumors and suggestions have claimed that Samsung designed Infinity-V and Infinity-D panels for only Samsung Galaxy A8s and after taking a close look at it, the notch is quite minimalist. To be honest, notches seem to be smaller even as compared to waterdrop-like notch in today’s Vivo and Oppo’s smartphones.
Samsung Galaxy A8s Specs
The Samsung Galaxy A8s specifications include Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Chipset – chances are we will see a more powerful SD670 – partnered with a whopping 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of onboard memory. The rear side of the device houses a triple camera setup which is more or less similar to Samsung Galaxy A7 2018.
It is most likely that Samsung Galaxy A8s will be available only for the Chinese audience and a bunch of months later, other countries’ audience will start getting their hands on one. However, nothing is confirmed, for now.
