Realme is now turning their heads to U-Series smartphones and announced that soon we will see another world’s first smartphone to be backed by MediaTek Helio P70 Chipset. After so many rumors and suggestions, finally, Realme announced officially on the Twitter account. That Twitter post indicates that there will be part of a new lineup of U-Series smartphones.

The most powerful Chipset – MediaTek Helio P70 was released back on October 24 worldwide which Realme said will start shipping before 2018 is out. The Chip is based on TSMC’s 12-nanometer FinFET Technology and is powered by a multi-core APU for AI.
The MediaTek Helio P70 also comes with 4 ARM Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 2.1GHz and 4 ARM Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 2.0GHz.
What Else?
Realme also announced that it is partnered with GPU – ARM Mali-G72 with operating speeds of up to 900MHz which will deliver users exceptional performance bump up to 13% as compared to all other smartphones.
The Realme U specifications are yet to be decided but it’s now confirmed that outback, we’ll see dual rear cameras up to 24MP + 16MP which will feature 3 image signal processors for reduced power consumption.
Right now, Realme is selling 4 smartphones in the Indian markets – Realme 1, Realme 2, Realme 2 Pro and Realme C1. The Realme 1 is the only smartphone which is backed by MediaTek Helio processor whereas rests of the other devices are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Chipsets.
