It’s not a long ago when Realme rolled-off from its parent brand named “Oppo” to provide to the millennial audience. The Realme stated that it’s going to be focused especially on the Indian market and also manufacture innovative, top rated and useful software features on its devices.
Oppo Realme 2 – Release Date
And now, company’s CEO Madhav Sheth has stated that the brand is planning 3 to 4 launches in the FY 2018-2019. However, he repeated that Realme will play in the reasonable territory with its smartphones priced between USD 71-290.
The CEO also mentioned that Realme is ready to launch its new handset soon. It is first offering as an independent entity and 2nd smartphone after releasing Realme 1 will aptly be dubbed Realme 2 and is expected to be landed on shores within a month. Without a doubt, it will be a budget-friendly smartphone sounds similar to its previous iteration.
Frankly, Madhav Sheth didn’t reveal that what will it dish out for its audience but he did say that Realme 2 will improve numerous factors we had with its predecessor. Does it sound that we will see a fingerprint scanner? Or probably dual rear cameras? Will it use MediaTek Chipset just like its predecessor or we will see Qualcomm’s Snapdragon SoC? Well, he hinted that Realme will opt for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon SoC. It sounds lovely if it turns out to be true, isn’t?
Oppo Realme 2 – Design & Display
Everything aside, the Realme 2 with the title “A Notch Above” is already upon Realme’s official website and reveals that it’ll house a display notch and the same diamond cut back design but in a Blue colour. Now design aside for a short while, no other specifications or features have yet been unveiled.
Oppo Realme 2 – Pricing
As a reminder, a predecessor Realme 1 was landed with 3 different storage tiers alongside 3 different RAMs – 3GB with 32GB, 4GB with 64GB and 6GB with 128GB with a price tag $127,$156 and $199 respectively. As far as specifications are to be seen, the Realme 1 has a gorgeous 6-inch Full HD+ display, MediaTek Helio P60 SoC, a dual-core AI-specific Chipset, single 13MP rear sensor and 3410mAh battery. The phone is being supported by dual 4G VoLTE, though.
