Nokia is Reportedly Working on a Gaming Smartphone Named Nokia 5.1 Plus

An exclusive licensee of the Nokia brand for smartphones “HMD Global” is now launching Nokia 5.1 Plus. It’s a gaming smartphone with AI support for image settings which is, of course, reasonable and trendy. Nokia has claimed that 5.1 Plus will be a budget-friendly smartphone which will have most advanced MediaTek Chipset Helio P60. The Company has designed a process especially to play graphics-intensive games, videos, and easy navigation via applications. The advanced AI inside 5.1 Plus Chipset includes Real-Time Face Recognition and image settings.

Camera-wise, Nokia 5.1 Plus offers users capture quality-oriented studio-like images with depth of field, Bokeh and Portrait Lighting. There is a dual-core 13MP/15MP camera alongside the OIS system. Nokia 5.1 Plus comes with Phase Detection Autofocus which ensures sharp image clarity and focus.

 

Screen-wise, there is a display with a size of 5.8-inches with curved edges and 2.5D glass on outback and the front. The handset has a solid metal structure with 8mm thickness and ergonomic design. Other features include Google Lens, Picture-in-picture, Android Oreo, battery-saving mode and much more.

Price and Availability

How about availability? The Nokia 5.1 Plus release date in Australia is unknown. Perhaps November or December is a release month of 5.1 Plus. It’ll be available in three sensational colours – Gloss Black, Gloss White, and Gloss Midnight Blue. As far as Nokia 5.1 Plus Price in Australia is concerned, it will set you back around AU$380.
