Motorola Odin (Moto Z4) Houses Snapdragon 8150 Chipset and 5G Moto Mod Support

2018 is about to finish but Motorola didn’t release a proper flagship smartphone which means we didn’t get our hands on any smartphone backed by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Chipset. Now, Motorola seems to change everything around – strategy-wise in 2019.

The last year’s Motorola Moto Z3 was a little disappointing but Motorola will be back with its latest, greatest and coolest smartphone named Motorola Moto Z4 in Australia and other regions sooner instead of later.

That upcoming smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon Chipset 8150 which is also due for an official unveiling somewhere in December 2018. This will definitely be a successor of currently available Snapdragon 845 Chipset – so we should expect to see it in every flagship device of 2019.

The Moto Z4 is also one of those Android devices of 2019 which is currently codenamed “Odin” rumored to be manufactured alongside 5G MotoMod. However, things are blurred if Moto Z4 will support current MotoMods of 5G.

Moto Z4 Specs (Expected)

The Motorola Moto Z4 specifications include Android’s latest 9.0 Pie operating system and an average amount of RAM – 4GB with 32GB of onboard memory. There will be an on-screen fingerprint scanner and according to a bunch of sources, Motorola is working on software to manage that.

It’s, for now, in the initial stages of manufacturing – only for North American markets and most likely headed to Verizon. Well, it’ll not be exclusive and unlock devices will be available worldwide.
