It’s been a couple of months since we have been hearing that Xiaomi will launch Mi 9 with a tri-camera configuration. Now, according to a new leak, China gives us a purported full list of handset’s specifications.
Talking about Xiaomi Mi 9 specifications, it is coming up with triple rear camera setup – perhaps not in a way, you were expecting. Sporting a 48MP main sensor (Sony’s IMX586) alongside a secondary 12MP sensor and a 3D TOF camera.
Screen-wise, it’s comprising a 6.4-inches Full HD+ AMOLED screen with a 19:9 aspect ratio and a waterdrop-like notch for sporting a 24MP front-facing camera. Frankly, its front-facing sensor will apparently be very identical in looks to OnePlus 6T.
The rear of the handset will look like Huawei P20 Pro – especially in terms of a rear camera. So, one big island with 2 sensors, a smaller island underneath with another cam. All of these will be positioned on the top left side of the handset.
It’ll be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Chipset – partnered with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM. And it’s most likely to set users back around CNY 2,999 and after conversion, Xiaomi Mi 9 Price comes to around $436 or €383.
There will be an on-screen fingerprint scanner and will run on Android 9.0 Pie based on MIUI 10. The total amount of battery will be 3500mAh with 32W Fast Charging without wireless charging support, unfortunately. It’ll have dimensions 155 x 75 x 7.6 mm and will land somewhere in March 2019.
