The BlackBerry has partnered with an Indian brand “Optiemus” in order to manufacture new Evolve line of smartphones which includes BlackBerry’s upcoming smartphones named BlackBerry Evolve and BlackBerry Evolve X in Australia and other countries. It is, however, announced in India yesterday and will go on sale from the end of August 2018. The availability for the rest of the world is yet to be announced.

The battery touted to churn out an entire day even with a heavy usage and little more with a moderate use. Wait! The battery does support a Quick Charge 3.0 feature to charge it from 0% to 100% in a couple of minutes.

Normally, BlackBerry doesn’t disappoint its audience especially when it comes to a camera and it seems like BlackBerry Evolve X is no exception. The device is holding a dual 12MP + 13MP rear cameras which is well-supported by an LED flash to capture detailed images even in low-light condition. To give users a great selfie experience, Evolve X brings a solid 16MP front-facing shooter.

As you’d expect, BlackBerry Evolve X runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. Is it further upgradable to Android P 9.0 or not? We’re not sure.

Storage and Connectivity

As far as BlackBerry Evolve X’s storage is concerned, it’s equipped with an impressive 64GB of onboard memory that can be expended further up to 512GB via microSD card.

The connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, dual SIM support and a bunch of others.

The BlackBerry Evolve X is also known as BlackBerry Ghost X which is ready to release in Australia somewhere in August 2018. The device is expected to be released alongside its younger brother named BlackBerry Evolve (known as BlackBerry Ghost).

It was yesterday when BlackBerry Evolve released these 2 flagship smartphones in New Delhi India from 11:00 AM. As mentioned above, it will be available somewhere in August but exact BlackBerry Evolve X release date in Australia is undecided for now.
