LG G8 Renders and 360-Degree Video Showing a Notch Design

The LG G8 is not now going to be LG’s first and foremost smartphone to be launched in 2019. It’s because LG is also set to reveal V40 ThinQ in Australia and India soon – from January 20th, 2019. Well, LG G8 will be a successor to last year’s LG G7 ThinQ which is most likely to be revealed during Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona, Spain.

Ahead of that event, we just got our hands on first 5K renders and 360-degree video of a flagship. According to 360-degree video, LG G8 isn’t really different from its predecessor and flaunts almost an identical design.

However, taking a closer look will help you notice some subtle changes. The rear camera is now positioned horizontally and it seems to be missing a Laser Autofocus. But, a fingerprint scanner continues to be available outback.

Rumored Specifications

It’s been around for a while through a number of leaks and speculations. Alas, not much is still known but an early report has suggested that it’ll be loaded with 5G cellular connectivity. Yet another rumor has suggested that it’ll be equipped with “Sound on Display” speakers – sounds similar to an on-screen cantilever-conduction speaker.

This Technology uses bone conduction and vibration to create sound directly from the screen making the speaker redundant. The main objective is just to ensure maximized screen real estate on a fascia of the handset.

Jumping on core LG G8 specifications, it’s most likely to flaunt Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Chipset (expected to be announced next month). However, we will not be surprised to see Snapdragon 845 as so many phones are already on par with 845 Chipset. That’s all!

Details about LG G8 Price in Australia as well as official release date are unknown, for now. We will be keeping an eye on Mobile World Congress to bring you the latest updates. So, stay tuned.
