Lenovo Z5 Pro – all-screen smartphone without even a notch has been showed off by Lenovo sporting 4 rear cameras. Most important of all, an invite suggests a possible sliding FaceTime sensor as well.
Outback you’ll see a square position of 4 rear cameras – sounds similar to Huawei’s upcoming smartphone “Mate 20”. The Lenovo’s arrangement is slightly different by a placement of cameras (in the four corners). And in a middle of a square, there’s an LED Flash whereas Mate 20’s Flash is on the upper left corner. The other 3 corners for rear cameras.
Alongside revealed image, you’ll see a small text indicates “AI 4 shots”. And if things go according to plan (if Google Translate is accurate), it’ll start landing on shores somewhere in October. It’s indeed understood that there’ll be more official teasers about Lenovo Z5 Pro between now and then.
Aside from Lenovo Z5 Pro and Mate 20, LG launches a smartphone with 3 rear cameras – LG V40 ThinQ. Now LG aside for a short while, HMD Global may go as high as 5 rear cameras for Nokia 9. And after that Google will join that race with more rear cameras.
Availability and Specifications
Chances are Lenovo Z5 Pro will be an upgraded version of Z5 with slightly bigger display and Chipset. Based on what we’ve heard, it’ll run Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC.
The official Lenovo Z5 Pro specifications, as well as a release date both, are unknown, for now. It’ll land before October is out with some unique and exciting features which we haven’t seen in Lenovo Z5.
