Huawei to Reveal Honor 8C on October 11 – A Follow-up of Honor 7C

A Chinese smartphone maker “Huawei” has started sending invitations for an official revealing of Honor 8C. This event will take place on October 11 but ahead of its official launch, TENNA has already published its specifications. The handset is considered a successor of last year’s Honor 7C which was released back in May. Honor 8C aside for a short while, you can have a look at an affordable alternative “Honor 8X”. This handset will go on sale in China and Europe on October 11 as well.

Huawei Honor 8C Specifications

The Honor 8C specifications include super gorgeous 6.28-inches LCD with a maximum resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels resolution. There is a taller aspect ratio and extra 0.28-inches of diagonal because of an adoption of a Notch.

Digging down inside, Honor 8C comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 – not as powerful as Kirin 710 in Honor 8X. However, the good news is that there’s an impressive 4GB of RAM whereas storage comes in either 32GB or 64GB.

Moving onto a camera section, Honor 8C houses 13MP + 2MP dual rear cameras and an 8MP FaceTime sensor. This front and back camera configuration makes us remind of Honor 7C (not as impressive as Honor 8X).

In terms of battery, compared to its both siblings, it’s having a quite larger battery – 3900mAh. That sounds 700mAh more battery over Honor 7C and even 150mAh larger over Honor 8C. Don’t be amazed by fast charging as Honor 8C model comes with 10W chargers.

As far as Honor 8C Price is concerned, last year’s Honor 7C caped out at $137/€115. Therefore, Honor 8C is likely to set users back either $137 or a little more.
