Huawei Honor Magic 2’s Teaser Showcases an Eye-Catching Gradient Color Variant

A latest, greatest and bezel-less flagship smartphone from Chinese brand Huawei named Honor Magic 2 is right around the corner. It’s a second generation of the AI-powered Magic smartphone which was launched back in 2016.

Recently, we went through Huawei Honor’s Magic 2 images, indicating a new color variant of this handset alongside Yoyo AI-powered personal assistant. The teased image houses a purple to red gradient. Towards the end of this latest teaser, an AI-powered assistant Yoyo says “Hi”, so we were curious to see now which option Yoyo is going to offer.

Huawei Honor Magic 2 Specifications

Honor Magic 2 specifications include a gorgeous and biggest 6.4-inches AMOLED display with a maximum resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and have an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The brain behind Magic 2 is HiSilicon Kirin 980 Chipset (Huawei’s latest Chipset) with Mali-G76 MP10 as a processor.

The total amount of RAM is 8GB and a whopping 128GB of onboard memory enables users to store loads and loads of data with ease. Most important of all, it can be expanded further up to 256GB via microSD card.

The handset runs on Android 9.0 Pie operating system and boasts a triple rear camera – 16MP + 16MP + 24MP. Besides, a dual mechanical pop-up 16MP camera is holding its position on the front. Battery-wise, Honor Magic 2 comes with 3400mAh non-removable battery along with fast battery charging.

Huawei Honor Magic 2 Release Date and Price

Don’t hold your breath as Honor Magic 2 won’t hit shelves in 2018. Instead, it’s safe to expect that it will arrive somewhere in 2019.
