Huawei’s sub-brand “Honor” is bringing a new mid-range flagship smartphone named Honor 9X in Australia in July 2018. The Honor 9X is expected to be loaded with a gorgeous 5.84-inches IPS LCD notch display with 1080 x 2280 pixels resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio for giving users dazzling visual experience. In terms of software, Honor 9X is expected to run on Android 8.1 Oreo – planned to upgrade to Android P 9.0.

What about a camera? There is an indication of the presence of a dual camera. The rear cameras will house a 13MP lens as main sensor and a 2MP lens for depth sensing. To complement it on the front, Honor 9X is expected to sport a 16MP shooter. Performance-wise, it’s going to be wonderful as the brain behind Honor 9X will be HiSilicon Kirin 659 – paired with 4GB of RAM for seamless and flawless performance. The Mali-T830 GPU will manage a graphical department, though.

64/128GB of onboard memory will be presented to store an ample amount of data with ease. The built-in memory will be expandable further up to 256GB via microSD card (great!). A 3000mAh non-removable battery will power-up Honor 9X and a fingerprint scanner will make it stand out from the crowd.
