BlackBerry recently announced its much-anticipated flagship smartphone named BlackBerry Key2 which was landed on July 2018. Now, BlackBerry has already started working on a new smartphone called BlackBerry Key2 LE in Australia with flagship level specs but at budget-friendly rates. Based on what we’ve heard is Key2 LE will be a souped down version of Key2 which indicates that upcoming Key2 LE will be an affordable smartphone.
Several online sources are suggesting that BlackBerry has already started working on Key2 LE and it’s expected to be landed sooner than later. As far as BlackBerry Key2 LE price in Australia is concerned, it’s said to be the toned down version of Key2 and it’ll absolutely be cheaper compared to Key2. The BlackBerry Key2 was priced in Australia at AU$850-870 – so we can more or less expect Key2 LE to be priced somewhere between AU$592-691.
BlackBerry Key2 LE Features
It sounds like Key2 LE will come with similar design pattern which we have already seen in KeyOne especially the design of QWERTY keypad. KeyOne aside, chances are BlackBerry will borrow some of the features from Key2 (newly launched). It seems like Key2 LE will house a shortcut button just as Key2.
Talking about BlackBerry Key2 specifications, it’s expected to come with 4.5-inches IPS LCD with 1080 x 1620 pixels resolution. Further down the line, it will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 Chipset which will be paired with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 512 will take a good care of graphical department. Storage-wise, it’s expected to land in 2 different variants – 32GB and 64GB – ready to accommodate your files and data. Most important of all, users will be allowed to expand its onboard memory further up to 256GB via microSD card.
Moving on its camera section, BlackBerry Key2 LE will boast a gorgeous dual camera system on the back consisting of 13MP primary and a 5MP secondary sensor. Well, details about FaceTime sensor are undecided for now. Besides, BlackBerry Key2 LE is said to be equipped with an average 3000mAh non-removable battery.
