Apple is Holding an Event at Steve Jobs Theater on March 25 in Cupertino

Reports are true as Apple is going to hold an event on March 25th at Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, California. This event will be marked a first time Apple used its Apple Park venue which didn’t include its iPhone announcement.

This special event announced by Apple with a tag line “It’s Show Time”. Obviously, it’s not for Apple’s iPhones but rather for Apple’s software as well as services. Apple is most likely to reveal both its original content video services and news and magazines subscription services.

News and Magazines

Last year in March, Apple bought a digital magazine

bundle service Texture. Apple worked with magazine and newspaper publishers to get content secured for a subscription version of Apple News app.

However, a proposed income split is reportedly more welcome to magazine publishers than to news organizations, therefore, there is a big question still about what publications Apple’s service will include. We don’t know yet how the payment version of Apple News is being priced by Apple. Bundled or standalone only?

Apple TV and Movies

Aside from news and magazines, Apple since June 2017 seems to be building a new original video content when hired “Two Top Sony TV Execs” in order to run efforts.

Apple has decided to deal with content from Oprah and original TV shows created with talent including Steve Carell, Aaron Paul, Directors J.J. Abrams, Jennifer Anniston, and Reese Witherspoon and Steve Spielberg and quite a few well-famous Hollywood names. In simple words, it’s not going to be a Planet of the Apps Part Two.

Apple is also scheduled to offer subscriptions through its TV app for other video services. The move is very similar to the function of Amazon Channels. Apple’s original content video service can be subscribed to and/or paid for with its own subscriber streaming services by viewers for HBO or other premium video channels. Obviously, Apple will keep a handsome percentage of overall revenue from the transaction.

We are hoping to learn about iOS 12.2’s release as well which includes support for the latest TVs which will be capable to work with Siri and Apple’s Home app.
